It is a legal requirement that an employer perform an assessment of all the hazards and risks associated with the tasks performed. The employer is responsible to communicate such hazards and risks to the employees The employees are those who ware exposed to the risks on a daily basis, and it is therefore important to get their input and buy in to comply with the risk assessments. Train all employees involved in the project on the risk assessments and ensure they complete the training attendance register as proof that they have been trained and that they understand the hazards and risks associated with the work to be performed.
